Getting to and from Schiphol by bike: Hop on!
Travelling to Schiphol by bicycle? No problem! Our airport is easily reached by bike, with good cycle paths to and from the terminals in various directions. And a big plus is that your journey becomes healthier and more sustainable when you cycle.
Bicycle storage at the terminal
When you come to Schiphol by bicycle, you can park right in front of the terminal. On the square in front of the Sheraton Hotel you’ll find a temporary bicycle storage facility where you can leave your bike.
Bicycle lockers
At some locations near the terminal there are bicycle lockers. Here, you can park your bike free of charge and safely using a lock of your own. Just remember to take your bike lock with you when you leave so that others can use the locker.
Enforcement policy for bicycles
We would like to use the space in the bicycle parking area as efficiently as possible and also keep the facility and its surroundings tidy. It is therefore important to supervise and enforce the improper parking of bicycles. Because Schiphol is located in Haarlemmermeer, the municipality is responsible for this.
